Registered charity 'Changing Horizons' was founded by Stu Skinner; a long-serving campaigner, consultant and Mental Health First Aid Instructor. Stu has worked on government campaigns, featured in BBC documentaries and worked extensively to challenge the stigma that causes so many to suffer in silence. Stu firmly believes that everyone has the right to a good quality of life and that conversations are the catalyst for change. He has walked 2,179 miles across the US and the entire length of Jordan to keep conversations about mental health in the spotlight.
Whether you want an established course delivered at a venue of your choice, or an entirely new training package crafted to your specific needs, Changing Horizons can provide in-house training to support your organisation and help you meet the HSE's updated first aid guidance. If you are reading this you are already thinking about how to improve the mental health of your organisation. We are here to support you on that journey. |
"I truly believe that every journey begins with a question. Questions start conversations and conversations save lives. Start your journey by having a conversation with us "

How we can support youWe’ll work alongside you to deliver training that enhances your existing wellbeing strategy. If you don’t have one, we’ll get you started on that journey and offer inspiration along the way. Our training courses teach people to spot the signs of mental health issues, provide initial help and guide a person towards support.
We're not in the therapy business, but we do teach people to listen, reassure and respond, even in a crisis. We want to break down those barriers and create a healthier, more inclusive culture. We already work with some of the best brands out there from the likes of Dishoom, Burberry, World Challenge and even the guys that light up the stages at music festivals (GLS). If you'd like to work with us then please take two and chat with Stu. |
